Hi! My name is Surabhi Sinha, and I’m a junior at Acton-Boxborough Regional High School. I enjoy traveling with my family, watching animals from my window and sampling different teas. I love singing and playing my saxophone. I get excited about finding better and novel ways to go about everyday problems. I care deeply for the environment and wildlife around us, and want to engineer the world for the better. One of the ways I truly believe we can combat environmental issues is to find an alternative to plastics that have become a staple in our every walk of life. I am excited about the opportunities and research in the realm of material science and nanotechnology that can make this a reality. The Trail of the Trash project spreads awareness to the public about how plastics are processed and specifically, where they end up, after we recycle them. I sincerely hope that this project could get the ball rolling at the grass roots level and build public interest that can lead to systemic change.
Hi, I'm Sunidhi Sinha, a high-schooler at ABRHS! I’m currently in 9th grade and a resident in Boxborough , and like to work with kids, listen to music, draw, hangout with my friends, and debate the world’s issues. I’m interested in both law and changing my community for the better. I believe that the TRAIL OF THE TRASH project is the perfect way for me to invest and give back to my community in a way that reflects my interests and passions. Through this project I hope that we can spread awareness of where our trash actually ends up, talk about our community’s impact on our environment, and ban the usage of plastic bags throughout Boxborough.
